You would be hard pressed to finish a game of golf without
using a golf towel. The sport of golf involves continual contact with the
ground and grass. This results in our golf equipment and hands frequently
getting dirty. The last thing a golfer wants to do is to go plunging through
their bag for a towel, so a grommet and hook enables it to be easily clipped to
a bag.
When it comes to golf gifts, one of the most popular is the
towel. Many golfers have a number of good golf buddies and enjoy remembering
them during the holidays. These towels are terrific gifts because your golfer
friends will love them and so will your budget. There are a large variety of
towels to choose from that can easily match personal styles and desires.
Two of the most well loved golf gifts are the embroidered
golf towel and monogrammed golf towel. Both women and men golfers tend to
really enjoy and appreciate this gift. When you give a gift that has been
monogrammed or embroidered it gives the gift recipient the feeling of being
extra special. Not mention the fact, that these gifts can easily add a little
style to a golf bag.
However, it is sad to say that the towel is often neglected.
After a game of golf, some golfers quickly stick it into the bag and head over
to the clubhouse without another thought being given to it, until the next time
they pull it out to play. Then it is often grimy looking and certainly smells.
Keeping a freshly laundered one is always a good golf habit to follow.
One hundred percent cotton is the fabric that makes up most
printed golf towels. Terrific features, such as anti-fungal and anti-microbial,
can be found in many of today's towels. If rarely laundering your towel happens
to be something that you have a tendency to do, then one with these features
would certainly be well worth considering.
